This country has done more for the Mexican immigrants than for ANY group that emigrated here before! Signs, packaged goods, EVERYTHING is written in both languages! As for them doing the jobs that Americans don't want to do and working for less money.... DON'T BELIEVE IT! They own restaurants, construction businesses, etc. and are putting Americans out of work by the thousands! I have to compete with them on my job, and it isn't easy. They're unlicensed, uninsured, give phoney ss numbers, and can undercut prices because they don't pay their workers a fair wage. (Luckily, the word "quality" doesn't factor into their work ethic). THEY are the ones exploiting the illegals - not US! They never fought for this country and don't pay taxes, and they have the unmitigated gall to DEMAND that we change our laws for THEM! To make them eligible for welfare and food stamps is ridiculous! Their record as voters is rather dubious, too. They've turned Mexico into a country of out-of-work panhandlers and now they want to do the same here. As far as I'm concerned, those taco-benders can pack up their hairy wives and go back to begging money from tourists back in Mexico!
