MAYBE THE STOCKS DO NOT TRADE. EATC COMES TO MIND OR MANY OTHERS. ITS NOT EASY TO BUY FRAUD STOCKS TO COVER SHORT POSITIONS IF THEY DO NOT TRADE ANYMORE. BUYING STOCKS IN THE OPEN MARKET HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE POSITION EVEN IF IT WAS A NAKED ONE. TRADING STOCKS IN CANADA AT ONE TIME WAS NOT AGAINST THE LAW EVEN IF IT WAS A NAKED SHORT POSITION BTW. THAT IS KNOWN AS GRANDFATHERING UNDER REG SHO
