Don't need to ask why. The R's never would have let him do it. He would have been doubly crucified. Just one more bit of fallout from Monica. The zeal the right showed towards damaging America worked, eh?

There are only 3 groups of people who support what is going on in this country any more. The Havemores, with their insatiable greed who felt that they needed an extra 500K a year to buy pies, and feel that the rest of us should be honored to pay their rent; rent for the army, federal law enforcement, hte coast guard what saves them when their yachts sink,etc. Welfare queens.
Then there are the Titanic True Believers, a feeble minded bunch of folks who think the Shrub is God's instrument to rapture them off to heaven. Feeble minded? Next time you see a group of 1000 of them, take a look around and see which 3 are gonna get their wish. 144K out of 50 mil ain't good odds. Especially when you figure non-Americans are probably gonna get the E ticket ride, too.
Then there is the group that hates America and what we are and stand for, and would like to see us collapse thru mismanagement, and see their goals as now being achievable.
Which group do you belong to?
