Sheesh, that's the tool that allows freedom from compie while retaining the capacity to "trade news".

Go to your news window. Select "settings" and then select "general" from the pull down. Select the "news watch" tab, and check the box that says "play this sound file". Add your fave .wav file, hit "OK", and then turn those speakers on.

edit: having GOOG in your watch list defeats the purpose.
