They recently told me that service calls will henceforth be charged for if the problem is not their fault. Which sounds reasonable but it takes so long to talk to a person instead of a damn robot computer. I've called at different times and as late as 2 & 3 AM and get the same bullcrap message, "all techs are busy... Your wait time is...

At least once I was able to express adequately my displeasure with their NON-service and I got free HBO, Cinemax and another for a year, and Showtime, the Movie Channel, etc for $5/month total. Now I stay up all night watching TV. :)
