I don't blame you for building your own computer. I've been giving this some serious thought. However, I don't believe there is much, if any, cost savings. Buying individual components and parts is not the same as buying in large quantities.

However, you do end up with a computer that is personalize to your own needs and desires. Also, having built the computer, you should be able to easily maintain it. However, as usual, the software is the major headache. Problems with the software are not always easy to resolve, so having some form of knowledgeable tech support is always a good idea.
