I agree with what you're saying. I just think spending 100's of thousands of dollars to put up a fence won't do a damn bit of good. What we need to do and what we should have done years ago is crack down on companies that hire illegals. Fine 'em, thrown 'em in jail, make sure there's no reason for these people to come in to the country illegaly. Also, someone on another board, suggested that just because you were here to illegal's shouldn't make you an American citizen. No other country does this but us. I think it's a good idea.
Minute Men are, at best, loose cannons. There are some who are good men, I'm not condeming them. I just don't think you give someone a gun, tell them to patrol and that's it. If they want to be border patrol, let 'em go through the course like the others do. We need more border patrol agents. It's not gonna stop the bleeding but it will slow it down some.
Also, We need to stop giving aid to Mexico until they clean up their own government. Those guys are on the take more often then not. |
