McArthur questioned Truman re: going into china and was recalled and fired. I understand why you are upset but this has happened before. I think its more principled to take the heat and quit or get fired when you are serving and strongly disagree than doing it to help sell a book. As an aside with Tommy Franks came on to defend Rummy on his desk were several copies of his book facing the camera. That crassness in light of our casualties in this war i find very disturbing regardless of whose book it may be.
