The main decision confronting the new company is whether to sell Duke's natural-gas distribution and processing businesses, the executives said. The company should make a decision by the end of the year, they noted. Motivating a potential sale is a belief that Wall Street is undervaluing the business because of its connection with Duke's massive electric-utility business.
