1. I would appreciate anyone contributing another set of DUV shipment figures. I started with the only reliable data at my disposal.
2. The Merrill Lynch report gives 1,147 and 1,176 as the total number of steppers shipped in the fiscal years ending 3/96 and 3/97, respectively. This is historical data, so I must assume that the analyst got this right. The totals for 3/98 through 3/02 are predicted to be:
1.099, 1,527, 1,279, 1,229, and 1,441. These numbers are consistent with what I have read about the industry and individual companies.
