Look, I am a Texan, born and raised. While I understand your affection for a small and limited government, I assure you it ain't going to happen on a national scale. If it does, then the nation is screwed.

The thing that cracks me up about the right's reaction to large gov't is that throughout history, its the corporation that has screwed the average American much worse. I understand the need for corporations and when they are reasonably or fairly good, they are very good. But when they are bad, they are over the top bad. The right thinks they are wasting their money paying taxes but think they are getting a great deal when buying something from Wal-Mart. And their poster hero is a Donald Trump with bad hair.
