Unfortunately, with time in short supply for both sides, the clash of national wills is escalating, and a military conflict seems more likely.

When was at least 5-10 years "time in short supply"? That's the earliest they think Iran can have nuclear weapons. I am not necessarily against putting the draft into place if for no other reason that to let Americans realize there are consequences when your president acts like an idiot. However, I am incensed with how the Iran war drums have begun to beat almost daily like the lead up to Iraq. And, frankly, I am not too happy with an ex marine asshole adding to those drums.
