I saw those pawning for gasoline stories all over the place yesterday. It's not just happening in Oregon. How much longer will it be before desperate people turn to crime to pay for gas? That is the unfortunate downside to our way of doing things. Desperation when the markets run amok.

Unfortunately, this is going to be something we all have to get used to, as $3.00 gas is going to be with is for a while, and who knows what will happen if we have another bad hurricane season this Summer?.

$100 oil = $4.00 gas
$125 oil = $5.00 gas

How hard is it to believe that we could not reach those prices in coming years, especially if demand is outstripping supply for oil?
