I've owned too many shares of this stock for the last three years. Saw it run from 6 to 13 and back again. A further admission before I continue with some observations. I'm really a novice but one that has been around a bit. I would appreciate having someone comment on the following...

The Company news reported SSPIF earned .23cents in 1996 on revenue of 13 million. The best price during the year was an inflated price of 13+ For argument sake, let's use an $11 share price and .23 cents of earnings for a PE of around 47. For a good year. A pe which could not be maintained.
In 1997,we are now at 8.00 share price and 1997 earnings are reported at .30 cents for the year for a pe of around 26.

If in fact SSPIF issued the estimates, and they achieve them for 1998 what can the price be at it's high for the year? At 26 times earnings will we get a share price of 11.75 to 12.00?
A pe of 40 would get a share price of 16.00. A pe of 60 would get a share price of 23 dollars a share? Your thoughts...

Lastly...A company named DSPG was recentlly listed in Individual investor magazine as one of the top 100Fastest groowing company's in the coultry. At the time of publication or June figures you could of bought this company for 14.75 with an estimated earning per share for 1997 of .62 cents or a pe of around 23....Since the magazine hit the stands and since June the shares jumped and are now selling around 38 dollars per share.

I'm hoping for 12 within 6 months for Spectrum. I'm hoping for 18 in a year. Anyone have more sophistacated analysis?
