Closing in on 2400 Americans killed and closing in on 50% increase in the national debt. Over 70% of Americans disapprove of the Dubyette's handling of oil prices and over 60% disapprove of his handling of Iraq. Some 85% think that something can actually be done about oil prices yet the Dubyette publicly says he can't do anything about them. Gee. It's not summer driving season yet. It's not hurricane season yet. It's not refinery-problem season yet. Maybe WalMart will get into the refinery business just to keep people shopping in its stores at a rate it approves of.
