But everyone knows that "the church" chose what to put in the bible at the Council of Nicea... this isn't news. A better question is why is the Old Testiment there AT ALL seeing the religion is purportedly "Christianity"?? Why didn't the council change the name of the religion to "Christ and a bunch of other guys Teachings" or "Word of God according to a bunch of guys including Jesus" while they were at it?
