Hi Ski,

Best read on Ethanol I've ever seen.

Everyone should read this - I believe it is well balanced and very enlightening.

As a side note it is interesting that there are over 6 million vehicles capable of flex fuel - over 3,000,000 of them are made by GM.

Starting next month every flexfuel vehicle made will be shipped with a yellow gas cap (from GM).

GM has made flex fuel vehicles since 2003 and are available in most of their high volume models.

Flex fuel vehicles run on E85.

E85 is blended by taking 100 gallons of ethanol and adding 17.2 gallons of gas to it.

17.2 gallons are required only so that the mixture is toxic. That's right the high end of blended ethanol use is 85% - so people won't drink out of their vehicle's fuel tank!!

Few ever state that in Fact Henry Ford designed the early Model T's to run on ethonal - prohibition put the kabosh on that plan.

I believe GM will surface as a visionary in this aspect.

If and when they get their union problems with Delphi and the UAW over - we'll see a very strong run up in the Dow.

Let's face it if GM gets a run like Cat has had - (after it busted the UAW the Dow will be a whole lot higher.

In between now and then Corn becomes a huge crop in the future.

I suspect John Deere is a good play and even better than that - good old dirt in the midwest - yup buy farmland.

Something to think out of the box on.
Bob
