Don Cox is wrong on silver in my opinion. One simple way to establish that is that he is somewhat bullish on gold and there is no way godl can rise without silvr rising. That would never happen. The are connected at the hip. Silvr is the poor mans gold. Cox should know that.

Cox is also tentative about the economic cycle. I subscribe to Cornier and Kaiser. The two best I beleive. I jst received a letter from John kaiser.

I always thought John Kaiser was one of the best thinker's out there with regard to analysing mining stocks. Whereas Cox seems unsure about what comes next, Kaiser is not.
I did not want to paste his speech for copyright reasons, but I believe a paraphrasing a few of his main points will be OK.

He is saying in no uncertain terms that we are in a "quantum shift" super cycle that should last at least for 3-5 more years. As such he is changing his format. He has always been a cyclical letter writer (bottom fish for each new cycle), so for him to change his format shows a huge change in his thinking

He believes the conflict between Christians and Muslims amounts to nothing compared to Aisa's demand for an easier life and more pleasures. And he quoted Jim Morrison: "we want it and we want it now".

He believes the reg May cycle which has proven correct for ever, will be over ridden by the new super cycle this year. He also makes the point that whereas during the dot.com era, stuff could be created out of nothing, new mines are tough to realize.

Last, he implied the junior mining stocks are undervalued and still reflecting the May cycle with tons of money waiting on the sidelines as the pros have taken their profits; and good juniors are stuck in the .90 to $1.00 range

In a nutshell he is saying Asia will decide this metals market and they are going to go forward full speed ahead.

I believe China's latest 10.1% GDP(which no one forcast) and record high commodity prices support John Kaiser's contention.

I agree with everything he has said above.

Cheers
