My understanding is not that Let It Ride has not necessarily stopped, but that SHFL will not run the game. They will allow the casino to run it if they wish. The description given of the new games suggested that they would offer much shorter odds than Let It Ride; that they tested very well, and that again, SHFL will not run or back the game but will license them for the Casino to operate. I suspected that it was the suggestion of IGT that they would produce greater revenue by leaving it with the Casino while they made their money from the equipment they furnish.. Let It Ride was like a lottery that paid off a couple of times a year, and SHFL only paid out a part of what was taken in, and I think the falling stock value reflected the fact that while it produced an occasional bunch of money it neither was very profitable nor was it consistent.
