Would you believe them if they claimed the reason for thwarting reporting of medical marijuana research was an abundance of caution? The sad thing is that as long as it is illegal, it must be bought from drug dealers and that promotes its gateway drug status. If it were legal to buy from a pharmacy honest people would not be forced to deal with a criminal. I suspect the real reason it is discouraged by the FDA is because it is already illegal. That makes it a chicken and egg thing.
