Why? Anyone reading this board who actually knows and understands the theory and read the first three paragraphs of Hussman's piece knows exactly why I said what I did. The ones who don't know the theory can look it up on the web and get some other equally bad layman's explanation to further their ignorance. Some theories require that you know lots of stuff in order to understand even on a very basic level, they defy simplification, EMT is one of them. BTW he would have avoided the most common error if he'd simply checked the definition on Wikipedia before he wrote his piece. To my thinking, if an open source encyclopedia can trump your reasoning you are just being intellectually lazy.
