We have a new soccer team in Houston. They were called the "Houston 1836" until the Latino's got all pissed off about it and the team changed their name. Seems they aren't too happy with the year because that's when we broke off with Mexico. They don't care that the Houston team chose that year because that's when the Allen brothers founded Houston. Oh no! They didn't like getting reminded that we weren't a part of Mexico anymore.
