Look a Jakestraws list of statements from Democrats between '98 and Jan. 2003. We KNOW what the military and our leaders from both sides thought. We know there was reason to question the findings of one group of experts (quite natural and dutiful, indeed), and reason to in fact believe differently (these reasons were expressed on the net, as were the doubts). Couple that with the above quote from Orca's so called "behind the curtain" link, and well, you are just flat out wrong to say "nobody believed..."
