The problem with being so close to history being made is that we cannot see the swing for the pendulum. I am not certain that the pendulum of morality is still swinging towards total immorality. If it were moving back towards center the screams of the S & G types might resemble what we are hearing today from democrats and their media handlers.

I suspect that we will see another swing back towards the middle (and maybe to the moral majority) before a final leftward lurch of immorality causes the dissolution of our society.

For some reason that time in history reminds me of recent Taliban and radical muslims. The same kind of immorality of the fake religious types allows public torture and murder of innocent victims because those in control have a need to terrorize the masses to control them.
