I know what you mean about minimized pleasures. Whenever we go out to Mexican restaurants I can only look at the chips- I'll never be able to eat them again. At least I enjoyed them when I was younger, before I knew what was making me so sick. I really miss sweet corn dripping with butter, and dusted with salt, also. We didn't have it often, but it was so good when we did have it. On the other hand reading labels as carefully as I have to now I've learned a lot, and we're eating almost no processed foods- so that's healthy for our whole family. Almost every crisis or problem is also an opportunity.
