Purging former felons who had earned their right to vote again, then purging anyone else with the same name (typically black names usually) was the main scam Jeb Bush used to fix Florida for his brother in 2000. Altogether, they purged 57,700 names from the Florida voter rolls, many of them legal voters, most of them Gore voters. Bush "won" by 527 votes.

The MSM really fumbled the ball by never truly investigating this, but by the time they knew about it it was too late.

Also blame Nader, Bush crony Scalia, Gore's choice of Liberman and Gore's refusal to embrace Bill CLinton, who even after Monica Lewinsky left office as the most popular president since Ronald Reagan and JFK.
