my cell phone is $39. mo. never use it much, but everytime i drop the to measured time and try to save $5. to $34. mo i get the kids calling about some situation or other and before i know it the bill have run up to $60. or higher. so now i just pay the $39. plus about $5. in tax maybe even more.

I keep cell phone for the car. wife sick and if i break down i want to be able to make emergency calls. or call tow truck. or kids .. same when i would visit friends up in new england , traffic backed up for miles,, nice to be able to call them and let them know you are going to late.

so it is something i use, on weekends it is free so i call relatives in boston, los angles , friends in chicago, etc.
my home phone bill is $15. never use it but have it for emergency in case cell will not work.
