Yeah... my TIP position yesterday actually was green... but that didn't last. I think it is quite amazing - Inflation protected US government paper is yielding close to 6 1/2%! Not bad. Would seem to be a good place to be no matter what the future turns out to be: In- or Deflationary. I think I'll hold on to TIP's.

The fact that bond traders are not pricing TIPS higher is, actually, evidence that they may not be such big believers in Inflation.

TLT is another matter - that's a trade... so far underwater. The decline off yesterday's top is pretty impulsive. The question is -- is it a weak last wave, or just the first wave of a larger down move.
