deeno, you are so jaded....LOL! I like to think of the
government as the representatives of the majority who voted
them into office. Their role is to promote and encourage
the desires of their constituents that voted them into
office, to implement changes as necessary. The government is
US, the majority, and must work to meet the needs of the
greater good as long as it is legal and does not restrict the
needs and rights of the minority. In a free, voting democracy
the minority should never dictate or impose their will on
the majority or else what is the point to having elections?
