sun micro continues to be in denial. they just don't quite get that nobody believes they are going to grow out of the hole they are in. I don't think JS is the answer here. I continue to stand by my prediction that a MAJOR rif is in the cards as well as a recognition that Sparq, well I hate to say it but, is TOAST. Of course Mcnealy didn't have the WILL to make any of these changes and the market, by its ho hum reaction today, only sees STATUS QUO with js who thinks all they need is "new" ideas. The stock market will take this higher when it can produce earnings and only then. It will only produce earnings with major cost reductions, i.e. a substantial shrink of this company. Of course sun micro will then be painted as a money losing computer company by hp dell and ibm, all of which make money. no win. it finally dawned on Mcnealy that he created a NO WIN for sun. His legacy is yet to be written. Of course today the media will give him a pass but that won't last. There will be stories. Someone will tell the awful truth about how badly he managed sun micro. regards
