i had a water hose break on main highway very dangerous area on a turn , two lanes on ramp going to one lane and cars are blind coming around the corner. i pulled far enough to let wife out of car with help and sat on guard rail. tow truck came by in two minutes on another call but guy stopped and told us to get into his cab. it took both of us to get my wife up into cab. tow guy said we are lucky to be alive so many rear end accidents right there.

two years later different car the neck on radiator broke off.
i had cell phone called tow truck and it arrived in twenty minutes. i was on a side street. I also called one of my kids and they came and got us within the hour.

figure price high but i will pay. alternative is get one of the prepay cards but i also use the cell number for doctors. the only people who have cell phone number are my kids and doctors.
this way i can get my up dates for blood thinners when needed and not miss a call or jump to house phone on every call. i do not trust the recording on house phone and notice some nurses will not leave a message and doctor called both numbers the other night when i didn't pick up cell phone. he left message on it and then called house phone. I picked up immediately because kids call cell and when i don't answer and they need me right away i usually see house phone ring.

complicated yes, but it eliminated a lot of computer calls for various reasons dumb republicans calling asking me to vote. told one the other night one more call and i vote democrat! no calls since.
