It's possible we'll have a short pause there, on our way to
100. Unfortunately, the energy crisis is very real
(the Hubbert peak stuff is not fiction), and will
plague the world for many years until an alternative is
found. It will only get worse until then.
The only thing that will stop oil now is a world-wide
recession. A US debt crisis would do it.
Then it could drop to 40.
