They sent you a box with a prepaid shipping label? This was another BIG complaint I had--I was charged $45. for the box (maybe $49?).

It was purchased with an extended, 3 year warranty that expired this past mid-September. If service was required, it was to be taken to a Gateway store for repair. From there it was to be express mailed in, at no cost to me, if the store could not fix it.

Well, the Gateway stores were closed when I needed the notebook serviced so I was told the free shipping that came as an aspect of the purchased warranty was no longer valid because it was only free if the _store_ shipped it.

Yes, I was angry. I had nothing to do with Gateway closing their stores. Without stores, I should have been able to send it in free, too, rather than pay for the box.
