That would make sense. The first 65-nm revisions will need to be compatible with AM2 and Socket-1207 boards released this year. Scrapping those HT 2.0 platforms for HT 3.0 platforms six months later would probably not be a popular move. AMD also has FB-DIMM listed for 2007. They motherboards will have to change for FB-DIMM so that would be a convenient time to introduce HT 3.0.
