The Big US banks own the Fed. Sure, the American public
would love to see all their recklessly accumulated debt
evaporate, but no, not the banks. They want it paid, at
a higher rate. That's why I think some inflation will happen,
but not hyperinflation. I agree, no deflation. Maybe
some asset deflation.
