The EV1 is dead, all were recalled and crushed... although 100 or so escaped the death sentence.

EV2 isn't in production and probably never will be.

Please!..real world gain is 10% so I get 10 more miles per charge?

Have you read word for word the Prius warranty?

While NI/MH shows promise I can show you a pile of dead ones if you ever come to south Tx.

Maybe LI/Ion will show even better promise but thats yet to be seen.

And real world results in range are falling short of manufactures claims.

Perhaps someday the technology will be there but its to soon to say if the current crop will hold up to expectations...Or if gas goes north of $5 a gallon and electric rates don't go up with it then I think they may make economic sense for those that don't have long daily commutes.
