I don't think the UNSC will fall for that trick a second time.

I guess it all depends on what rhetoric Ahmadinejad comes out with next...

We failed to obtain a binding resolution last month, but apparently we're going to try again after the non-binding resolution expires at the end of this month.

One wild card in all of this is Israel. They have stated that if the UNSC doesn't take the necessary steps to prevent Iran's acquisition of nuclear weapons, that they will be forced to act on their own in a manner that will drag the rest of the world into the fracas.

I really don't want see Israel's back up against the wall to the point where they do something rash. Something so rash that we all pay the price for it.

And given that Ahmadinejad has threatened to wipe Israel off the map, they already have sufficient "casus belli" to attack Iran.
