A Big Mac's price is not fixed in dollars all around the world and it is in fact quite flexible. It's priced in every major world currency and it's dependent upon many factors such as input costs, competition, desired returns on capital, etc. A change in any of these factors will influence the price of a Big Mac.

Does this pricing mechanism sound anything remotely similar to the China and Hong Kong dollar peg?
