I think I've bought some of that corn (that was being sold as sweet corn) from a farmers market. Not fit to eat to eat is right... That's because you bought what they sell in Washington State as sweet corn. Doesn't hold a candle to good ol' Midwest sweet corn (I'm partial to the Michigan version, cause that's where I buy mine - I'm sure the Illinois version is much the same). KneeHighByThe4thOfJuly.com
