Good To hear from you Tom.
Re: waiting for the blood to start to coagulate............
and that's a good way to put it.
----
I've been back on the boat a lot lately and
mostly out of Stocks..a small amount of
PFE and INTC recently..but very small and also
hedged with covered calls sold.
----
Mostly I've been riding in I-Bonds
and real short CD's and Money Markets
May 1st will set new rates for the I-bonds
( most of what I have are now at 6.83 % intrest
with some at 7.35%, ) some ( on Yahoo fools )
say that will drop come May 1st..but I'll wait and see.

Did you know paypal is paying over 4.5%
on a balance in it's MM fund ?
I like using it for a cash reserve

For someone like me it seems getting into stocks
( ETFs ) and I like IWN best
during the last quater and going into Treasury
Direct the rest of the year is the safest way to go..
After all I'll be 69 soon and don't need to take
on a lot of risk.
However a few small bets add a little spice to my life
and I'll look at this VTSS later..
but only after a class action has been filed
Jim
