That's for the UNSC to decide. But there's nothing that prevents the US and other nations from taking actions that punish such a withdrawal.

Like North Korea was punished? LOL. I suppose you're going to tell China they can't buy Iranian oil. And India they can't buy natural gas. ROTFLOL. Or maybe you'll cut off the world from Iranian oil by blocking the Straights of Hormuz.

And Israel could easily take steps that drag all of us into this morass.

That's ok by me too. I think the world could use another reminder of what a real war is like. Better now than later when it's going to be a lot uglier. WWII was the last real war we had and that cost 50 million people. We can beat that substantially.

You should know how the war simulations went at the war college. All the mid-east options/variations were bad.
