Geron Announces Conference Call to Discuss Financial Results for the 2006 First Quarter

MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 2006--Geron Corporation (Nasdaq:GERN - News) will announce its financial results for the 2006 first quarter on Friday, April 28, 2006, prior to the opening of the equity market. Thomas B. Okarma, Ph.D., M.D., Geron's chief executive officer, and David L. Greenwood, Geron's chief financial officer, will host a conference call for analysts and investors following the announcement at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time, 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
