The best business analysts, in my opinion, are the foreign guys and gals who are on in the middle of the night on CNBC from europe. They are so sophisticated I can barely keep upwith them and they usually talk in a very low tone and with a thick accent, but they sure sound like they know what they are talking about-lol. The little bit I get-lol.

Anyway, here is what I gleaned from listening to several of the currency analysists over the last few days:

The dollar will continue to fall in a chronic manner and the euro, yen, and I would guess gold and silver and other commodites will contiinue to rise.

In a nutshell: many of the worlds currency analysts see this picture: We are sending roughly 2 billion dollars a day to asia. They have too many dollars now, so they are buying euros, yen and I would guess gold, silver and other commodities.

This looks to be a long term chronic problem/trend. So the dollar should continue to fall inexorably for as far as the eye can see and the US will just slowly be drained away.

This should keep the upward pressure on gold and silver until this trend changes.

If anyone can supply a scenario which would see this trend change I would sure like to hear it.

P.S. the world seems inclined to raise interest rates pretty much together so this becomes a non issue for dollar strengthening as it is a constant variable (always liked that one-lol)

Cheers,

chuck
