I am sure that will happen eventually if the company fails to establish a clear identity. But that's not the goal. No identity => when people discuss products/problems/solutions, the name "Sun" does not pop into mind. Something else does. And, when the name is going around the table, and someone wants to suggest an alternative, the name "Sun" does not pop into mind.
