How about these apples: JP Morgan -- less than 2x book. Barnett Bank just fetched 4X book. Which would you rather buy? Not that anyone will buy JPM soon, but what a name! It's on my watch list and I'll look to pick it up when the market trades at a lower multiple. Salomon -- less cache, but only 1.4X book. Don't know much about banks myself, but would appreciate feedback. Good investing, Mike
