4:42PM Varian Semi beats by a penny, issues inline guidance for Q3 (VSEA) 30.01 +0.54 : Reports Q2 (Mar) earnings of $0.26 per share, $0.01 better than the Reuters Estimates consensus of $0.25; revenues rose 22.6% year/year to $170.5 mln vs the $168.5 mln consensus. Co issues in-line guidance for Q3, sees EPS of $0.36-0.42 vs. $0.38 consensus; sees Q3 revs of $180-190 vs. $187.85 mln consensus.
