The speech is three hours long.

Of course a literal adaptation of the book would be impossible, but I think a screen version is doable. Although Rand would vehemently disagree, the speech could be cut to less than a half hour, just the pure meat and potatoes, IMO.

I didn't like some of the changes they made to Lord of the Rings but still enjoyed the movies. A well done Atlas movie (or two, or mini series) could really make a political difference in this country. No other novel that I've ever read has had anywhere near the profound influence on my life as Atlas has. I'm not an Objectivist, but I do owe Rand a large debt of gratitude for her works...
