Didn't know why so many families with small kids had SUV's...BUT if the kids have to have Nadar mandated car seats, small cars only hold 2 in the back seat....Which is not realiztic for a family with 3 or 4 kids...Where do the two older ones sit? For that matter....wonder how many "safety features" are now on cars that weren't years ago....How much do those features weigh, and how much gas do they cost when driving the car.... Lots of factors in type of car that is purchased.... Do agree with you on the pandering against "big oil".. repubs and dems alike. After all, people have choices. The NIMBY and Anti-Everything folks have made the situation so very much worse, for ALL of us.
