Sounds a bit panicky. I guess he finally had an accountant suggest to him that current asset trends were frightening with cash running down rapidly while inventories keep on rising...not to mention that $3.9B goodwill that is not being amortized at ant reasonable rate ;-)

As well, if Conroe doesn't live up to its hype, and either can't be produced in significant volumes for another year or so or costs a bundle (poor yields) to produce, INTC may well be in for a lengthy skid! (After all, Conroe is a new process, which takes many years to mature!)
