Hong-Lee Yu, I too would like to see an analysis showing how the revenue/earnings picture and balance sheet will look 1, 2, 3, and 4 Quarters down the road, assuming things go as now predicted (much lower key and believeable than in the GO-GO pre March 27 days).
Several weeks ago I did talk to Phil Strauss about the Rushville Project. You'll remember, it was HUGE (1000T/day I think). I had been in correspondence with a woman who lives nearby and was aware that this project had a long way to go and many obstacles. The major one was that the site had a very checkered history and there was community resistance, especially to the truck traffic that would be generated. Also, they were partnered with a guy who, to be charitable, did not reflect very well on the company. In any case, that project, as I understand it, is gone. Part of the winnowing, focusing process referred to elswhere.
I know it was supposed to make lots of money, but my guess is that the permitting and community relations aspects would have made Fairhaven look like a cake walk. Good riddance, I say. |
